VR3000 attempts to borrow from the best the competition has to offer but does not quite succeed. There are about 40+ VR videos currently available, but only five of them stand out as unusual or original. Assuming that the noticeable shift towards themed novelty scenes isn't just a fluke but a new strategy, there might be more interesting things on the way. So far, their run-of-the-mill content is only counterbalanced by a large bonus archive which has been VR-ified with underwhelming results.

Hang on a minute. Trump porn, Vlad "The Impaler" Putin, Harley Quinn, PokeGirls, Zelda? That sounds awfully familiar. Looks like someone has been watching the Big Boys closely and is starting to emulate their success formula. Late last year BaDoinkVR released the Donald Trump sex tape Parody and earlier this year the brains behind said viral hit launched the only virtual cosplaying site currently existing on the web over at VRCosplayX. And yes, they'd already done Princess Peach, Pokemon, SuperMario, and other geeky porn parodies. VR3000 seems to be eager to learn from the best but fails at executing those concepts at the same high-quality level. Take away the title from the "Harley Quinn Footjob" video, and all you're left with is a naked model in clown make-up sucking her own toes. Just calling something cosplay or comic book themed doesn't make it so.
To be clear, though, VR3000 is not a cosplay site nor does it have an underlying comedic streak. The point I'm trying to make is that the producers realize they're shooting run-of-the-mill content which doesn't generate enough promotional buzz. Every clueless VR porn studio justifies their mediocre website launch by pointing at the models and telling us how pretty they are. And sure, there's nothing wrong with the girls, just don't expect to find a certain type here. Everything about the concept behind VR3000 is unfocused and meandering. Considering the complete lack of a model directory or even short bios, the absence of a search bar as well as proper keyword tagging, the word "careless" comes to mind. The indifference on display here does suggest a quick cash-in strategy. Take the 5000 scene bonus section as another example: Those clips aren't VR at all. Instead, you get standard 2D scenes "projected" onto the wall of a virtual living room. It's a cute gimmick, but once you've seen it, you're left with 4999 other movies on what can only be described as a non-searchable, unchanging tube site. I'd rather see those bonus videos in full size without the pointless head-tracking. Yet another instance of striking the VR iron while it's hot without thinking about the subscriber's bang-for-buck experience.
The site's design is minimalistic and navigating through download and streaming options is easy. The videos are all presented in 180° Stereoscopic 3D with immersive binaural surround sound. Video files run at 60 fps up to 4K HD for all the familiar high-end gear as well as PS4 and smartphones. There are no live cam shows or VR photo galleries available. You will, however, be able to browse six pics from each video. Those images need to be manually saved to your PC by right-clicking them (there are no zipped photo sets), and they're only displayed in screen-resolution. Again, not impressed. The "bonus video" faux-VR selection is bare-bones in its presentation; thumbnails on a black background. No search, no tags.
Movie length is not an issue, but the scenes lack kinky dialogue and dirty talk. Most of all they are devoid of character except for the above mentioned Trump/Putin parodies. The girls weren't cast to match a specific body type, age, or skill-set, so you end up scrolling up and down through a potpourri of more or less attractive models. As for fetishes on offer, expect the usual mix of anal, big tits, blowjob, cumshots, couple, gangbang, lesbians, masturbation, cuckold and teen sex scenes. All I can say for lighting and set design is, yes, they used studio lights and presumably moved some furniture around. Once you've watched the Kitchen Santa video, you've probably seen the top of the mountain.

Conclusion
I take no joy in writing negative reviews, mainly because there isn't much fun to be had with an uninspired VR website. As a Virtual Reality enthusiast, I want to explore and embrace all of the new sites, but it's my job to separate the wheat from the chaff. I'm having a very hard time coming up with positive aspects in this case. VR3000 needs to rethink their creative angle as the lack of character is unforgivable with so many excellent alternatives on the market. Technically speaking this site is better than some of its competitors but re-watching "The Happening" in Ultra 4K HD still wouldn't make it a good movie.
